Blood And Urine Test Said, Yielded No Significant Growth After Hours Of Incubation. Means?

Hi Doc., A doctor collected my blood and urine for a test. After some days the result came out as: Microscopy: Puscells- 0-2 phf Epithehel cells ++ Bacteria cells ++ Others nil Culture: Yielded no significant growth after 48hrs of incubation at 37 degree Celsius. Please what does this mean? I m I infected? Thank you.

Dear friend, welcome to HCM.

no. you are not infected.

the urine shows bacteria, but no pus cells, and culture in lab has not shown any growth of bacteria uptill 2 days.

it depends on how well the urine sample was collected. if contaminated with surface bacteria, such thing may show up.

so, if you have no symptoms, do not worry.
