Blood Analysis Done. Recommendations?

I just had a blood test (non fasting) and there are my results:

ALT 43 40
GLUCOSE, Random 74
Sodium Serum 139
Potassium 4.5
Creatinine     1.49
Glomerular filtration rate, nonAfrican American     49     > 60     mL/min
GLOMERULAR FILTRATION RATE - AFRICAN AMERICAN     59     > 60     mL/min

Should I be concerned?

Hello and welcome to HCM,

your blood report interpretation is as follows:
1. The fasting glucose level is normal
2. Serum electrolytes sodium and potassium are within normal limits
3. Liver enzyme ALT is within normal limits
4. Creatinine is slightly raised and glomerular filtration rate is slightly decreased

So, the abnormality lies in the kidneys.
You need to consult a physician for complete evaluation of the renal system.
It may include a pelvic ultrasound, IVP, and few more tests if relevant.

Thanks and take care.

Hi
Welcome to HCM

The reports you have mentioned are within normal limits however you haven't clarified the GFR, which one of them is your result. With the above mentioned reports there is not to be concerned about as everything seems normal.

Thanks
