Blister On Lips, Redness, Bleeding. Is It Due To Excessive Heat In Body?

Hi,

My mother has a blister on her lips (not sure whether it is a blister or something else). It is usually red and sometime blood also comes when it is worn-out. We checked with one doctor a while ago and he told that it is because of excessive heat in the body. Can you please suggest how to avoid it and what is the cure for this?

Thanks,

hi. you did nt mention the duration of blister (if at all)? whether it happens again and again or is it persisting? Is their any preceding history of any drug intake.

possibilities are Herpes labialis, Fixed drug eruption, Apthous ulcer. Please visit a dermatologist as only a specialist would be able to give a definitive diagnosis
