Bleeding Gums And Plaque Build Up In Pregnancy. Reason?

I gave birth three weeks ago and throughout my pregnancy my gums bled. I noticed earlier my gums are white and starting to peel by my teeth. I also noticed more plaque buildup than usual and a small hole in one of my teeth by my gums. Could pregnancy have caused all this because I always brush and I never noticed this before

Hello,

Usually during pregnancy ,ginigivitis as well as bleeding gums occurs due to altered hormone levels.

Get a thorough scaling done.

Take iron,folic acid supplements.

Fruits and vegetables has to be ingested.

Maintain oral hygiene well.
