For about a week, I have old blood in my left nostril. It isn't like a nose bleed, which I never have, but it is like a slow drainage. The first morning it occurred, I cleared my throat in the sink to see a black glob of blood. I blew nose and more came out. Later that day, when I blew my nose, there was pink mixed with the mucus. Every night, my nose stops up. In the mornings, I blow my nose and have a dark blood mixed in with the mucus. Along with this symptom, my nose is very sensitive to the touch at the top of my left nostril. I am concern about what is causeing this. I have never had it before. I will be 62 in August.
