Bleeding during orgasm. Reason?

hello, for the past weeks ive experienced bleeding during orgasm . this lasts for about 30 mins then i get a cramp on my left side near my pelvis , then it passes. im 39 years old weight 85 kilos i have regular pap smears and all come back ok. during my menstrual cycle i do get heavy periods, though i have always had heavyness during the first two days. i have made an appointment with my doctor, but im a little concerned as this has never happend to me before. and its a little embarrasing . im not on any contraceptive , as it makes me sick. what do you think could be causing this?

Thanks for writing to us.
Having a bleeding after an orgasm can be related to a cervical lesion like erosion or a polyp. Even if the pap smears are normal, vaginal infections and chronic cervicitis needs to be ruled out after an examination.
