Bleeding And Yellow Discharge After Septoplasty. Solution?
I had a septoplasty six weeks ago. I m still getting some bleeding and a yellow discharge which smells bad; I think its been infected the whole time; I had a post op fever of 101 for three days post surgery. none since. I think I might need an antibiotic , but I m not sure which; my surgeon is away. I am an MD and can write a script. Please advise

Hello,
For infection you need antibiotics, decongestants , antipyretics and nasal saline wash and steroid nasal sprays.
i advice to my patients--
Tab. Roxithromycin twice daily
Tab. Mucinac 600 once daily
Tab. Ebastine/Loratidine +Phenylephereine /pseudoephedrine twice daily
Multivitamin
Xylometazoline nose drops
Physiomer normal saline nasal spray
In doubt do reply
