Bleeding After Ball Hit The Bridge Of Nose. Is Headache And Nausea Symptoms Of Concussion?

I took a ground ball to the bridge of the nose today. The ball was not hit extremely hard but cut the bridge of my nose causing the gash and my right nostril to bleed excessively. I have a bad headache and i am a little nauseous but I'm bit sure if I actually have a concussion because the ball bounced off of the ground before hitting me. Also I had a minor concussion 2 weeks ago. Should I be concerned?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

There are criteria that are used to determine if imaging is required after head injury: (1) headache
(2)vomiting
(3)age greater than 60
(4)alcohol or drug use
(5)persistent memory loss
(6)seizures
(7)visible trauma above the clavicle

In light of the fact that you've had a recent concussion , you may want to consider visiting your doctor for an assessment.

I hope this helps
