Black Patch In Groin, Itchy, Burning, Red Dots. Help
doctor im a16 year old boy 5ft 9inch weight 86 kilos,since I have no male member in my family and I live with my mom alone I am having a problem which I cannot disclose. since the past three months I have developed a black patch in my groins which sometimes itches and sometimes burns these started with small red dots which have developed into big black patches im afraid please help me
The symptoms as mentioned in your post suggest that you might be having fungal infection in the groin region.
Management includes:
1. Keeping the area dry & avoid too much exposure to water or sweat formation.
2. Antihistamine preparations like cetirizine to reduce the itching sensation & provide symptomatic relief.
