Bipolar disorder. Taking allopathic medicine. Chances of getting treated by using alternate medication like ayurveda?

Hi Doctor Kavitha, My name is sashi and I hav a friend who is suffering from bipolar disorder and anxiety for past 4-5 years and has been on allopathic medication . I have been going through the net and discovered that such a patient has to undergo lifelong medication in allopathy . However, ayurvedam seems to show some hope. Can you please let me know if you could please help my friend recover? Can you please le me know what needs to be done? Looking forward eagerly for your response, sashi

1.Drakshadi Kashaya: Take 20 ml Kashaya (4 teaspoon) + 40 ml light Hot water and take it at 6.00 am and 5.00 pm in empty stomach. Take food only 1 hour minimum after taking kashaya.

2.Manasamithra Gulika:Take 1 gulika crush and mix it with kashaya and take that twice daily.

Keep the gulika(tablet) in 20ml of warm boiled water for 5 hours before taking kashaya and grind the tablet in that water and add it kashaya and take it at 6.00 am and 5.00 pm in empty stomach.

3.Ksheerabala Tailam (head): (head):Mix these taila's (medicated oil) then take 5 ml and apply this taila on hair and scalp 10 minutes before you bath and wash it away by green gram powder. Avoid soap for washing away taila.Do it 5 times a week.

The ideal food you can have while using Ayurvedic medicine is non-spicy, non-oily, vegetarian diet.

Take a stainless steel vessel dry it in sunlight or in fire for removing water content then pour the tailam from each bottle to it and mix it well, then pour it back to the bottle and store it in an area devoid of moisture and humidity.
