Bilateral Salpingectomy Five Days Ago. Recovery Symptoms. Taking Morphine For Pain. Any Advise To Be Ore Comfortable?

My partner had a bilateral salpingectomy 5 days ago,she has had the usual recovery symptoms eg...trapped gas.,very sore abdomen.,very sleepy..
The last 24 hours she has been physically sick after taking any food or drink..which seems strange because she was eating and drinking ok for the 2 days after the op...is this normal?
Do you have any advice on how to make her generally more comfortable..
She is in real pain at the moment, the morphine makes her a bit shaky but does work for a very short while.
Please help..
