dr, my neuigbour has mild decompensation cardic disease and dilated unfolded aorta with prominent knuckle and few bilateral fine basal atelectatic plates are seen.
what is her case?
i am looking for best medication and life style
the best way for lowering the progression of disease
note: she suffer from high pressure also she is an old women

Hypertension is one of the most common causes of heart (cardiac) failure.

Delayed progression would be achieved by controlling the blood pressure and reducing other risk factors. This means : (1) controlling the cholesterol
(2)if there is any diabetes- controlling blood sugars
(3)reducing smoking if this is an issue
(4)physical activity as directed by her doctor- for example short walks

The fine basal atelectatic plates infer that there is minor collapse in the lower areas of the lungs.
