Being 4 Months Pregnant, Is It Normal To Puke Blood?

Good afternoon, my girlfriend is currently 4 months pregnant and categorized under "high risk". She just got finished vomiting(only a little) and she said that she had noticed a little bit of blood in it. she doesn't feel pain and doesn't feel sick.

Dear Member,
Thanks for writing to healthcare magic.
vomiting of pregnancy usually subsides by 3rd month but some women may have a little vomiting on and off. you have not mentioned the reason for high risk pregnancy.
the blood may be due to gastritis which is common in pregnancy. I would recommend antacids to clients with similar complaints in my clinic. if it persists please consult your doctor as she is high risk.
Thanks.
Dr Bhagyashree.
