Bad Sore Throat, Swollen And Inflamed Gums. Prescribed Amoxicillin, Gargled,s Till No Help. What To Do ?

Hello doctor. I am very worried and don t know what to do. Iv been sick since last week and it went away and came back 100 times worse. I have a very bad sore throat and was tested for strep but came back negative. My gums are swollen and inflamed and I can t eat because they are so sore. I have canker sores in my mouth and one on my lip. My glands are extremely sore and swollen to the point it hurts to slightly touch them. I was prescribed amoxicillin but it only seemed to get worse. I have been gargling with salt water and peroxide and mouth wash but it has not helped. What do I do? Will my mouth ever go back to normal or will I have to live with these puffy gums for the rest of my life?
