Bad Smell From Vagina, Had Abortion. Related To Having Abortion Without Having A Raspa?

Hello doc, I had an abortion last december 22, 2011.. I think it was 4-6 weeks.. but i did not have the time to have raspa and i have noticed that before and after my menstruation , my vagina smells so bad, others can smell it if our distance is so close just like, squatting, sleeping and sitting together...does the abortion w/o having a raspa has something to do with the smell? please help me.

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The smell from your vagina specially after periods may be related to the vaginal infection caused by using unhygienic pads or prolonged use of a single pad. You need to change your pads every 6 hours even if the flow is mild to prevent this infection.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
