Bacterial Vaginitis, Painful, Irritation, Groin And Thigh Itching. Suggest?

I have had bacterial vaginitis over the last few weeks ... antibiotic cream & then oral antibiotic. Seems to be improving but still lots of pain & irritation around my pelvis, groin & upper thighs. Usually swim & ride bike for exercise. Am eager to get back to those, especially swimming, and think that doing so will help my pelvic tone, but am confused about whether I should wait until vaginal symptoms are gone.

Hi, many thanks for the query!
Yes, definitely you should wait till you are completely cured for your as well as other swimmer's good.
Continue your treatment, you can add anti-histaminic drugs for itching & also anti-inflammatory drugs with your doctor's opinion.
Wish you a good health.
Take care.
