Hello, You can not say just by symptoms that you have hiatal hernia or not. You can get done Barium swallow examination . In this test a dye is swallowed and then x rays are taken . if there is hernia it will be seen as separate collection of the dye at lower end of esophagus (food pipe). You may require proton pump inhibitors . Then endoscopy can be done if required. For acid reflux treatment-- Antacid tablet +Domperidom Syp. antacid gel 2 tsf two times a day half an hour before meals multivitamin twice daily Keep head end of bed elevated.
