Baby's Motion Soft To Watery Motion Many Times, Doctor Advised Enterogermina, Moderate Colic While Passing Motion

Hi ,my baby is now 9 mon.she start to have soft to watery motions 3 to 4 times a day some times normal motions in between ..she is on breast milk her dr. advice me to give her enterogermina but no allergic test can be done for her in my country what is your advice Sir she is afebrile normally active with mild to moderate colic when passing motion

Hi,thank you for your interest in HCM.Your baby is 9 months old, having 3-4 soft to watery motions a day may be normal and hence the advice of prebiotics with Probiotics prescribed your Doctor is correct.As your baby is 9 months old,it is high time to start weaning food,if it not yet started,as per your Doctor's advice.Mild colic when passing motion may be managed with Anti-flatulents like Colic-aid drops with H2 blocker may be used for a short period of 1-2 weeks,as per your Doctor's advice.
