Baby Vomiting Frequently Specially After Feeds. Worried

Hello, I have a 13 week old baby and she is sick a lot after her feeds - prob a couple of times a day. The sick is slimy and will be about half a cup full. I took her to have her rota virus the other day where she again was sick and the nurse thought she had a reaction from it as there was so much sick - this was actually the norm for her.
She acts well, not ill but I am worried that its progressing more as it seems to be more frequent now

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi there,

Thank you for choosing HCM for your query.

As I understand it, your baby is 13 weeks old and has been vomiting multiple times a day but otherwise is acting well but she is vomiting more frequently now.

I would suggest you take her to her pediatrician to be examined especially since she is just 13 weeks and she is at risk for dehydration that needs to be recognized and taken care of immediately.

Also, if she is not able to feed well, try giving her oral rehydration solution or pedialyte to keep her hydrated, small and frequent sips. Continue to monitor her urine output closely, if her urine diapers are less than 6 in a 24 hr period, if she is not acting well or is more sleepy than usual, then without delay take her to the pediatrician immediately.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Dr. Sumeet.
