Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

Some times kids do not accept any food or a particular food for short duration of time. If the kid is other wise active and playful one need not worry about this.

Vomiting could be because of force feeding a kid who does not want to eat.

If a kid does not want to have a particular food one should not try and force feed the kid. It is better that that particular substance is reintroduced after some time. They may accept it at a later date.

But if a kid vomits with out force feeding and has total loss of appetite then one should examine the kid for other causes like jaundice etc and investigate further.

Hope this helps.
Take care.

Hi,

Thanks for the query.

Your little daughter must have suffered from a mild viral infection .Though she was alright the n her appetite went for a toss post viral infection.I guess you should not worry and give some time for her appetite to return .

Ask her regular docter to prescribe some multivitamins and digestive enzymes for faster recovery.

Bye
Take Care
