Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Thank you for your query,
Your child seems to have upper respiratory tract infection could be bacterial or viral.
Continue the medication as advised by your Doctor.
For fever you can give paracetamol syrup in prescribed dosage every 6th hourly depending on the presence of fever, and give tepid sponging with lukewarm water whenever there is high grade fever.
Try to give adequare oral fluids frequently even in sips, continue breastfeedind to maintain hydration and nutrition.
If the fever is continuing, consult your doctor again for re-evaluation.
Hope i have answered your query.
