Thanks for your query,
your child is having diarrhea which is usually viral in origin,
i advise you to maintain proper hydration, give him oral rehydration solution sip by sip after each loose can also give coconut water, buttermilk, curd ,mashed banana, mashed potato.also five him lactobaccilus sachet for 2 to 3 days.
In case diarrhea persist i advise you to take him to pediatrician so that his stool gets tested and in case of any infection he will be treated accordingly.
Your child will be soon
God bless.

Pediatrician, Cardiology Dr. Pradeep Kumar's  Response
Its already been 5 days since he is passing loose stool. Green colored stool is due to increased gut motility and green colored bile doesn't get time to get coverted into stercobilinogen responsible for yellow color of stool.
I would suggest you to consult your physician as he may need antibiotic for diarrhea. Till then give ORS frequently to prevent dehydration. Use paracetamol for fever. Also give Zinc syrup and probiotic for early recovery. Be watchful for decreased urine frequency, decreased oral intake and lethargy. Consult your doctor immediately if you notice any.
