BP 110/81 at the age of 31 with heart palpitations. Is everything alright?

I am 31 yrs old. I recently started having heart palpitations. I saw a cardiologist, i have had a stess test, ekg, echo, thyrod checked. Everything has come back ok. My heartrate usually stays in the 90's sometimes goes to 86,84 resting. But when i am active it goes to high 90s,and 110. I have started a diet and currently trying to lose weight. My current weight is 200. I recently lost 8lbs. Is my blood pressre and heartrate ok and as i lose weight will it get better?

Your Diastolic is a little high, but not dangerously high. Your Systolic could be a little lower (thats the higher number) but again, not anything life threatening.

I have lost 55 pounds since March of this year. I weigh 228 pounds now. For the past 2 weeks, I have had heart palpitations. I started having Employee health record my BP. I have always had a normal bp of 120/80. Recently, it s been low for me. For example, today it was 110/69 and my pulse was 58. I have no other symptoms/problems other than the palpitations/hesitation. My physical is scheduled for a week from today. Should I try to get in earlier to see a doctor or should I just continue monitoring my bp/pulse until next Friday? I m scared to do the wrong thing, but I don t want to panic either. Thank you for your help.

Certainly as long as it doesn t cost me anything! I have been feeling very sleepy and lethargic with heart palpatations and a feeling that my head is going to blow off. Almost like a pressure as if someone is choking my neck if you will type pressure especially while lying down. I take bp meds and I don t always do that in a timely way. I have nodules on my thyroid and wonder if that is the problem. Seems I m just problem-matic in my older age??? I am 58, I feel great other than these symptoms that are now starting to bother me. Oh...I also have had a partial Hysterectomy...one overy? Thank you. Hope you can answer.

Hi, My age is 30 yrs, height 6-10 , wt 62 kg, I have palpitation for the last 12 yrs. I do not even sleep on left side because of the vibrations I feel. I am using tobacco in the form naswar for the last 15 yrs. I had been advised Inderal 12 yrs back for a months. But some 5 months back my BP also increased to 135/95. I did all the tests related to thyroid, kidneys, ECG, Trophinin T, etc. All these are normal. Doctor advised to take Inderal for 3 months but after 3 months I had the some problem. But now I have quit naswar and feeling well, that is no palpitation since then. You plz tell me that is tobacco is responsible for my palpitation and hypertension. Thanks

HI since about February i have had trouble falling asleep because of racing heart and slight chest tightness. it seems to happen mainly when i am trying to relax and most times after drinking alcohol. I also used to always sleep on my stomach but now i cant because i feel it causes more discomfort. when im laying on my stomach i feel like i can feel my heart beating a little bit harder so i try sleeping on my back. sleeping on my back does help but i still will experience the palpitations. its really scary so i usually cant fall asleep till i am extremely exhausted. I am in pretty good health i have good blood pressure, no blood disorders, and no previous heart conditions. I had my heart checked at the doctors and he said it was fine but i also was not having an episode at the time of my visit. the reason i am here is because my insurance is expired till august and was hoping to get some answers

years ago I noticed heart palpitations which led to panis attacks because they scared me 30 years later dealing with them ive noticed a link to them.the question is I believe the main trigger is in the garden vegetables from the store.I know this sounds a little bit reaching but I told my wife to lay off the frozen vegetables and they have decreased dramatically could there be a link or could it be the pesticides causing the to re-surface.ive tried to live with them for years and wished they woulg go away.yes its true anxiety and palptations are related but why would they dramatically increase.ive also notice when my blood pressure is a little higher than normal I dont have palpitations at all.so why would my blood pressure being around normal cause me to have them and being a little higher not have them.why would eating vegetables cause me to have them alot.its hard to find a medium area but since ive laid off the vegetables its bearable.ive tried everything humanlly possible.I guess if I never felt my heart beating would probably cure me.I also use to be a track runner in school years ago long distance runner is it possible that the excessive running triggered them?just searching for answers thank you.

I have had a incisional hernia repair after a hysterectomy 10 mths ago, constantly having uti and blood in Urine and sever bloating, when at it s worst I have palpitations and have to lay down, I ve had to change gp recently because of misdiagnosis, I m on strong antibiotics which seem to repeat every month, help! I m waiting for a scan because my left side feels as though there is something there. I seem to have to push for tests all the time, I know my own body and I cannot afford to go private a 3rd time.

I have been getting a numb chin for about 6 weeks now. Sometimes the numbness stretches down the front of my neck and sometimes I get it going up my cheeks. Sometimes it s across the front of my chest. It s like a moving sense of pressure and sometimes it s painful. I get palpitations and the GP is checking me out to see if it might be heart-related. I ve had a couple of borderline ECGs and a borderline exercise stress test. i m currently wearing a 24 hour monitor and I have an echocardiogram scheduled for Monday. The discomfort is really bad today though - chin, bottom lip, across my chest, just a feeling of tightness and pressure. I don t know whether it s stress or if I should get myself checked out immediately.
