Autistic child having rash on face. Started when had runny nose. Reason for rash?
9-year-old son has rash on face. Started two days ago when he had a runny nose . no other noticeable symptoms. Child is autistic so not verbal but does let us know when he s not feeling well. Rash only on face. Rash is not very raised, not hot to the touch and is not spotty ... it s pretty solid over the bottom half of his face.
I think your child is having allergic spectrum.
These includes the running nose what your child is having and rash which has developed.
There is no need to worry.
Your child needs to be prescribed with antihistamines .
Take are. Good day
Thanks for your query,
Rash and runny nose can be a part of viral illness and will take few days to settle.
I suggest you to apply calamine lotion over rashes 3 to 4 times a day also give antiallergic like benadryl as per dosage.
Watch for any other symptom like fever or rash spreading to other parts and in that case get him evaluated by pediatrician.
Wishing your child good health.
