Asymmetric Breasts With Pain. Is Breast Reduction Possible And Will I Get Insurance Coverage?
I'm a 19 year old female with significant asymmetry between my breasts (at least one cup size, possibly two). I'm having a hard time finding a bra that fits, I don't know how to work out with the size difference, I have a hard time sleeping and am in pain all the time. I'm in university and I'm afraid this is the number one cause of my stress.
My question is, would I be able to get a breast reduction surgery on one side? If so, as an Alberta resident, would it likely be covered by my insurance?

You are having breast of different size, but the pain is the alarming thing.
I would like to know whether you have the difference since the begening. whether the pain is from the begening.
If it is from the begening it is congenital, so only surgery can help you. but if there is pain, it also may not be possible.
If the difference is of recent origin, along with the pain, mamogram may be needed to exclude the malignancy.
so i advise you toconsult a surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. Thank you.
