Hello.Welcome to HCM forum.Hepatitis C virus infection generally leads to chronicity in 85% of patients.20 to 30% people get cirrohsis within 20 years and few of them get hepatocellular carcinoma.You should be more concerned with your health as compared to going abroad.Your proper and aggressive treatment will decrease progression to chronic disease.Thanksandgood luck.
