It is normal to put weight after marriage in most cases.
The possible causes are
1.change in life style and food habits (celebrations, adjusting with spouse, eating out,activity level)
chamges due to pregnancy(if possibility) but not due to sex.
A study says happy marriage make u put weight.
As u mentioned with early arthritis
, maintaining your BMI is important.
Hope u have no other issues in regular periods.
To control your weight
1.proper balanced diet, that includes more fresh vegs, fruits, salads.
U can try green tea twice daily,
Cumcumber, tomato salads, dont avoid dairy products.
2.regular exercises with mild strengthening exercises to all joints (try to do atleast 4 times a week) which helps to maintain your joints in good condition.
3.walking, swimming, bicycling 3 to 4 times per week.
4.take proper rest.
5.be active.reduce the time u sit in front of tv or computer or phone.
