Arm Numbness, Anxiety, Pain Post Ironing. History Of Panic Attacks. Treatment?

Yesterday I had my first case of waking up with a dead arm . It was flopping about for around 20 seconds, and then went back to normal. I have a history of anxiety , and am constantly thinking that its not back to normal and that I can t feel anything, when I can - I just ironed for about two hours with the same arm and it was fine, just ached a little bit. Is this aching normal? Thanks

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,Emzt,
Thanks for query.
This is quite normal.
By sleeping in one position during night there might be spasm of muscles and some pressure on the nerves causing this problem.
After ironing those muscles relaxed and spasm gone giving you better feeling.
Due to anxiety you feel more problem.
Ok and bye.
