Area Around The Eyes Getting Swollen. What Could Be The Cause?

I am 65yrs old retired. Fasting blood sugar usually at 150mg/dl Itake 30 minute walk daily. a vegitarian. Ihave taken 2.5 mg Glynase for some time but gives indigation inthe night after meal, Ihave taken Glimpiride 1mg+250mg metformin both morning and evening. The area around my eyes gets swolen. Please advse

It seems from the history that you are having puffiness of face.
Diabetes or drugs used for its treatment are not responsible for puffiness of face.
But complications of diabetes involving the kidney can cause this.
Hence you need to consult your physician for evaluation by tests like microalbuminuria and other kidney function tests.
Do consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
