Are Vitamin B 12 Deficiency And A Ovarian Cyst A Cause For Concern?

I havent had my period in 9 months. Im generally pretty regular other wise. I still get in an unbearable amount of pain in my pelvic area like when i did get my periods. I am also on the birth control which my own gynecologist has switched up as i still dont have my period. I am not pregnant since im not sexually active. Ive had lots of blood tests done and some untrasounds. They have found i am vitamin b12 deficient and i do have a small cyst. Im just scared and confused as everyone keeps saying there is nothing to worry about

hi..you have not provided B12 report and USG abdomen report..
1.you have B12 deficiency..it should be corrected to prevent nervous system damage.
2.cyclic pain during menses suggest ovarian cyst problem..it is because bleeding in cyst cause its wall tense and initiates pain..if pain is mild it will manage by medication.
but if pain is troublesome for you consult doctor for surgical removal..
both are not emergency conditions..
butyou can not neglect them..
take care.
