Are Vaginal Spotting And Nausea Symptoms Of Pregnancy?
Hi i'm trying to get pregnant at the moment, i had the implant removed in October 2010 and had a normal period starting on 22nd November and since then i had only 2 days light bleeding on 20th December when i was due on. i've had nausea all day everyday for the past couple of weeks and cramping in my lower abdo. I've done several home pregnancy tests whuch were all negative. Is there a chance i could be pregnant?? i do feel pregnant and i'm getting alot of the early symptoms but not a positive test.
Hi there, My opinion after going through your question is: 1) Having multiple pregnancy test results which are negative along with no missed periods would mean you are not pregnant. 2) Vaginal spotting and nausea could be due to pregnancy, but they could also be because of hormonal imbalance. They are not reliable indicators of pregnancy. 3) If you want to confirm, you can get a blood test called serum beta HCG. 4) If that is also negative, then it would mean that you are definitely not pregnant. 5) You can get an ultrasound done if you have severe cramping in abdomen along with a urine routine examination as it could be due to urinary tract infection also.
I wish you all the best. Regards, Dr. Shikha Shah
