Are There Other Options Besides Taking Ramipril, Adelat And Clopidogrel For Heart Palpitations And Blood Pressure?

I have daily heart palpitations with medication my blood pressure is 107/65 to 130/65 not exactly sure of bottom no. The medication I'm on is Ramipril, Adelat, Clopidogrel, spironolactone, Terazosin, Atenol, Rosuvastatin. Before taking these meds it was difficult to keep B.P. down only taking Atenol and Ramipril. I have normal cholesterol but slightly low HDL. I also have 40% blockage of carotid artery. I can tolerate without side effects these meds but the palpitations are unpleasant I never had palpitations before. Cardiologist tells me they're harmless and my blood tests and echocardiogram were normal. Any any idea why the palpitations? Yes I do get a little worked up over them. Many thanks, YYYY@YYYY

Hello.Of all the drugs that you refer, atenolol is the most appropriate to treat palpitations.Probably an adjustment of the dose of atenolol be enough to control your palpitations. If atenolol is not effective, may be used other effective drugs in palpitations as bisoprolol or diltiazem.Go to your cardiologist for evaluation and prescription.I wish you good health.
