Are There Certain Groups Of People On Whom Varicose Veins Affect?

Hello Stephen My name is Margaret and I am doing a project in class on varicose veins . I am trying to research who it affects but unlike ovarian cancer it doesnt affect certain groups or even particular people. Is there any websites that you know of that has information on who Varicose Veins affect. THANKS

Varicose veins does affect certain groups of people more than the rest of the population.

In people who stand up for long intervals at work, they are predisposed to developing varicose veins.
Examples of such occupations are as follows:
1. Teachers.
2. Store clerks.
3. Bus conductors.
4. Domestic helps.
5. Hair dressers.
6. Railway guards.
