Are There Any Side Effects Of Using Indocap Sr?

Hi,
I am 34 years old male. A blood checkup revealed that my uric acid, ESR, lipid profile and cholestrol levels were high. My doctor put me on indocap SR and febuget 40 for the uric acid along with diet and exercise. I also previously had joint pains when playing football. This happened more than a month back. 2 Weeks back the blood checkup - ESR had come down and Uric acid back to normal. He asked me to stop indocap sr but the joint pains are back. Wanted your advice regarding this. Should I carry on with indocap again?

Hi, you can continue the Indocap if it gives you relief but try and wean it off. Like start with one a day and then next week get it down to one in two days and so on. Continuing the medicine indefinitely would not be good for your system.
All the best,
Take care,
Dr Rishi, New Delhi, India.
