Are There Any Side Effects Of Taking Ofloxacinand Ornidazole For Diarrhea?

My baby is eighteen months old and have diarrhoea.can I give ofloxacinand ornidazole suspension.if I can give ,in which quantity I can give.is it effective to give in stopping diarrhoea. From 3days I gave him enterogermina ampoules twice a day and zinc acetate but my child don t get relived. Please give your expert opinion for this.

Thanks for your query.
Noted the history about your 18 months old baby having diarrhea, you want to know whether to give oflaxacin and ornidazole and the quantity that can be given.
You are already giving Enterogermina and Zinc acetate but there is no relief.
I would advise you the following in such a case:
- First of all this is a virtual internet based world where I can not see the patient or examine him and it is not allowed to write medicines.
I can advise you to take the child immediately to the Pediatrician for clinical evaluation, insist on tests of stool and blood, urine and get an appropriate treatment and dosages as a valid prescription from your Doctor.
Do not treat the child at home as there can be complications that can occur anytime and then you may have to admit the child.
