General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dear Krishna, Hi
Welcome to HCM.
I appreciate your concern regarding the safety of Regesterone if used during pregnancy.

Regesterone may have an adverse impact on the growing fetus.

Regesterone is a hormonal preparation containing Progetin & must be taken in supervision of a clinician only. And if pregnancy is suspected or confirmed after its consumption, then chances of congenital malformations in the growing fetus would be high. It can cause harmful effects like virilization of female fetus, if taken in early pregnancy.

I advise you to take your wife to a gynecologist for further evaluation.

Best regards.
