Are There Any Side Effects Of Taking Duromone?

I am currently taking Duromine 30mg I was not very overweight to begin with but not very fit looking. I am 164cm and was 65kg. I wanted to loose weight and look slimmer and just better for summer and bikini on the beach. I am 36 years old and looking slim is important to me. Now I am two months into it. I have lost 5kg. I look perfect and I AM VERY HAPPY, But My question is if I stop will I end up fatter than I was before?? I have heard of people that used speed or duromine for fun and then when they stopped they expanded an extreem amount of weight. I read that 3 months use is the most you can stay on duromine. I read its addictive but I dont want to stop, I am not addicted. I dont need them to motivate me I am motivated physicaly. I just eat alot I feel hungery alot. I dont starve anymore and suffer like I used to. Will I die If I drop down to 15mg and keep on taking it for a month on month of basis for lets say 5 years.? I just dont want to get fat again or even fatter.!!

Dear thanks for the question and providing enough details.

Firstly I would like to tell you that even if you can manage without it (or at reduced dosage)now as you have lost weight but don't do without discussing with your family doctor. You have mentioned that you are motivated enough to control your weight by physical activities, its good to stop (but under supervision) duromine. Morever it is not advised to take this medicine for longer as it is highly addictive.

This medicine reduces appetite, so once you stop it appetite may increase and you may gain weight but your motivation for physical activities will counter this.so stop this medicine as soon as possible under the supervision of your doctor.

I hope i have clarified your queries. Do write for follow up queries. I wish you good health and fitness. Thank you.
