hello doctor, i took pregnancy test today and it came to be positive. I want to know are abortion pills are safe to take.
height 5'3 weight 58 i have severe acidity problem but now a days its under control. no other medical ailment as such except back injury which occured 5 years ago

Hi, I have gone through your question. Yes, abortion pills or medical method of abortion is safe upto 7 weeks of pregnancy, but it can be given upto 10 weeks of pregnancy. It consists of 2 drugs mifepristone and misoprostol. It has a success rate of 98%. This medical method should be taken only under the guidance and prescription of a registered medical practitioner. Acidty problem and back injury are no contraindication for taking medical method of abortion.
