Are Syncopal Attacks Caused By Gabapentin?

Hello! My brother takes gabapentin for neuropathy in his feet.He has had two syncopal episodes where he sits down in a chair and starts to feel confused ,becomes pale and blacks out.He falls from the chair and hits the floor hitting his head.It takes approx.a minute to arouse him.Do you think this med.could be causing this? He has a hx. of seizures and takes dilantin regularly. These episodes do not present like seizure activity. Thank You.
