Hi , I am living in Mexico and had about 8-10 days ago a brief sexual encounter with a mexican prostitute. She put a condon on and first gave me a blow job, then i penetrated her vagina for about 30 seconds or a minute before I came. When pulling out i realized she was menstruating as there was some blood on the condom and some blood on the shaft of my penis.the condom however was intact and stayed on my penis about 2/3 of all the way, so only shaft was exposed. i kind a freaked which also made me soft right away and she came with some toilet paper to dry off the blood on the shaft on my penis, i ran to the bathroom as i anted to get rid of the bloody condom. my penis being soft the condome stayed on but i took condom off quickly and went under the shower to wash my penis clean with soapn and water....now i am kind of freaked, as penis was soft when i pulled off condom and since there was blood in condom i am afraid blood touched tip of my penis and that way infected me...am i just paranoid? there was also the cum in the condom which should have blocked any blood touching my urethea in case it even got to that part of teh penis, am i correct? anyway i was kind of concerned, thenread a bit which calmed me a but down....now 2 days ago, so in fact that was about 5 or 6 days after the ecnounter with the prostitue, i felt nausea in the morning, had heartburn, diarrhea goit during the day muscle pain and even a 39 degree fever. all of that lasted only one day though! the night after the day i git sick (i measure fever in evening before going to sleep and definately only had 1 day of fever), i had some night sweats but of course i also live in hot mexico where sweating at night is common, obviously. so, after 1 day being sick, next day i was fine, BUT now i have 1 single lymph node that is swollen , in my left armit ad this is there now since 2-3 days......its feels slightly painflu when touching it and didnt go away after the fever, diarrhea and muscle aches went away....so, can 1 day of being sick be the sign of HIV infection (sero reconversion, actue HIV infecion??)...or is it 5-6 days after a possible infection anyway to soon to go through a sero reconversion??? i am stupid thinking i could have HIV at all?.....my 3rd problem is that i am having a wife that i love very much, and a 5 years old kid, and i CANNOT tell her i went with a prostitite, it would destriy her world....i was totally stupid doing all this, and I sure did learn my lesson but what do i tell her now? i dont want to have unprotected sex with her unless i know i dont pose any infection risk to her...i know i have to wait 4 or even 6 weeks to do relaible HIV testing but if i dont have sex with her all that time she will ask me whats wrong...if i come up with use of condome, same thing , she wouldnt understand why,....is there something i can tell her as a reason why for the moment i need to use condomes without telling her about my HIV fear?? again, cant tell her about my big mistake with the prostitute..:-(...maybe tell her i have a fungus and dont want to pass it on or whatever?? sorry for that many questions, but I am worried, and more about my family being affected then my personal well bing in regards to HIV thanks soooo much for replying
