Are Stomach Cramps And Hot Flashes Signs Of Pregnancy?
Could this mean I may be pregnant?
I do not have regular cycles therefor calculation ovulation is a bit difficult. According to the ovulation predictor I was suppose to have ovulated yesterday but my cervix remained tightly closed. I am not due for my visit from aunt flow yet but Im pretty sure had I ovulated my cervix should've been open??? I option is that ovulation was not predicted correctly the other??? Could this mean I may be pregnant? btw cm has not changed but slightly since my last visit. and at 12 days into my cycle I had a sharp stabbing pain and slight cramps and 15 into my cycle I began getting headaches, hot flashes and muscle aches??? What your opinion of this whole thing?
Hi there, I have understood your concern. I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.
1 ) First of all do not panic.
2 ) As you have some predictions about ovulation, I will suggest you to wait for 15 to 20 days after the ovulation day.
If you still happen to cross your dates, then please get morning's first sample of urine tested for pregnancy. In case of doubt blood beta HCG test and USG will be of help.
3 ) Your other symptoms can not be directly related to pregnancy unless there is confirmed diagnosis of the pregnancy. You can take simple analgesic like paracetamol as needed. Increase daily water intake.
I hope this answer helps you. Thanks. Dr. Purushottam Neurgaonkar.
