Are Spotting, Nausea And Sore Breasts Symptoms Of Pregnancy?

I am TTC. My period was a week late and instead of having a period I had dark brown slightly pink mucus. I have nausea especially when I lay down and sore breasts. Could I be pregnant or could a previous miscarriage change the way my period looks/works?

Hi,
If you have regained your normal menstrual pattern after the miscarriage, the abortion will not influence the hormonal pattern anymore, unless, the cause of the abortion was some hormone imbalance. In the current scenario, you should get tested for pregnancy either through a HPT or an estimation of the serum beta-hCG titres. A clinical evaluation by a specialist followed by a trans-vaginal sonogram also help to plan further management which varies with the presence or absence of pregnancy. Hope you find this information useful. Take care.
