Are Smoking Marijuana And Alcohol Intake Safe When Diagnosed With Thalassemia Major?

Hi. My brother has thalassemia major and he is 17. He has been smoking marijuana and drink in alcohol these days. I don t think he takes it in excessive amount but he has been smoking in every 2-3 days now. Is it harmful for him to smoke and drink even normally. My family is quite worried about his habits and he has become stubborn and doesn t want to listen to us.

Marijuana is a threat to youngster. seeing his behavior , it will be more likely to turn to other forms of drug abuse .
