Are Serobid And Budecort Steroid Free Medications?

HI, Doctor I use Serobid and Budecort inhaler. The doctor prescribed me these as a preventive for asthma . My question is that are these drugs Steroid free and safe to be consumed? I have been using Foracort 200 earlier and of late I had been experiencing irregular periods. Should I use Serobid and Budecort?Please help.

Welcome to HCM and thanks for your query.
Both Serobid and Budecort contain steroids. But the dose of steroids in inhalers is small and generally does not produce systemic side effects.
Though hirsuitism or excessive growth of hair is sometimes found in people using more than 1500ug of beclomethasone, it is not likely to produce menstrual irregularity. You should see your doctor and investigate for conditions PCOS which are more likely to cause irregular periods.
