Hi & Welcome to HCM.
I appreciate your concern for the Schramberg disease & hives.

As such they are not related.

Schamberg's disease is a chronic discoloration of the skin which usually affects the legs and often spreads slowly. It is caused by leaky blood vessels near the surface of the skin, capillaries, which allow red blood cells to slip through into the skin. The red blood cells in the skin then fall apart and release their iron which causes a rust color, this accounts for the orange tint of the rash.

Hives (urticaria) are raised, often itchy, red bumps on the surface of the skin.
They are usually due to an allergic reaction to food or medicine.
When you have an allergic reaction to a substance, your body releases histamine and other chemicals into the blood.
This causes itching, swelling, and other symptoms.

There is no cure for Schamberg's disease; the itching can be controlled by a cortisone cream on the affected area.

For hives treatment may not be needed if they are mild. They may disappear on their own.
Avoid the triggers for the allergic reaction.
To reduce itching and swelling:
Do not take hot baths or showers.
Do not wear tight-fitting clothing, which can irritate the area.
An antihistamine like Diphenhydramine (Benadryl) may be effective.

Hope this answers your query.
