Are Red Spots On The Arm And Ankle Related To Low Platelet Count?

Hi, I have been told in the past I have a low blood platelet count. I was sent to a hematologist years ago and they found nothing. I do get purple and blue bruising and now I have noticed near my ankles and one spot of my arm with small red dots. I recently had knee surgery and they ordered blood work prior to the surgery but said nothing. Should I be concerned and get a third opinion? I was told during my pregnancy I had herpes but it was from a long time ago the dr said. I am very concerned can this be treatable?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if the low platelet is doubtful then better get the count done for this else it could be something to take with allergic condition and not due to platelet and so stop worrying about this hope this information helps.
