Are Post Nasal Drip And Cough Contagious Diseases?

Post nasal drip down throat especially when lying down at night. Been like this for 0 days now. Seems to clear during day. Cough developed last couple of days and headache today. Do not have runny nose. Have been taking polar amine for last two days to try and dry up post nasal drip to sleep at night. Would I be contagious

Hi i do care for your concern.
The symptoms that you have mentioned suggest more of sinusitis.
It is the infection occupying the sinus spaces present over face.
If i were your treating doctor then i would advise,
To start on antibiotics such as amox along with antacid for one week duration.
To have warm water for drinking and avoiding cold environment.
to have steam inhalation.
These measures will help to control sinusitis and so post nasal drip.
polaramine will help to control but not cure the disease.
