Are Pins And Needles In Foot Part Of Cuboid Bone Fracture Healing?

I fractured my cuboid bone on my left foot and I have been instructed to wear a boot and use crutches for the next four weeks. I have been constantly feeling a pins and needles sensation in my foot that sometimes goes up my calf. Additionally, there will be random bursts of pain within my foot. Is this part of a normal experience of a fracture healing? Or should I be worried?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
The weight bearing bones of the foot need a lot of rest for healing to occur. If adequate rest isn't provided, healing may be delayed and incomplete.

The fracture may not be healing adequately. Please contact your orthopedician.
