Are Persistent Dry Cough And Stuffy Nose Suggestive Of Whooping Cough?

What started as a bad head cold 4 weeks ago has now turned into a dry cough with a intermittent stuffy runny nose. My coughing spells come and go during the day but worsen in the evening and subside overnight. I had the tetanus/ pertussis shot in 2009. Should I worry about Whopping cough?
