Are Pain And Numbness Indicative Of Shingles?

I have been having extreme sensitivity pain on my left side but seems to be only affecting the skin surface and not internal. Extremely painful with numbness, tingling and pain. I have had this for 4 weeks now. I thought possibly that it could be shingles but, I haven t broken out with a rash. Any thoughts on this? I am 60 years old and in good health.

HI
Well come to HCM
You have not mentioned where on left side of body you have pain, if this is superficial pain then this could be nonspecific and may not be due to any disease, just wait for some time, if this does not improved then this need to be clinically examined mean while this can be treated with NSAID, and best drug would be Tab Diclofenac 50 mg as per needed, but better avoid this as long as this is possible, take care.
